Final Event and Final Party – two events for a great day

On October 21th Radicepura Garden Festival close its gates for now and wants to say thank you and goodbye in a huge way. How? Read on.

The Final Event – A New Green Scenario starts at 9am with the meeting “Agora Mediterranea” featuring many important people from the Italian and European artistic and cultural scenario. There will be talks about the fundamental issues that have inspired the Radicepura Foundation in the organization of the 1st edition of the International Festival dedicated to Garden Design.

Ideas coming from all over the Mediterranean area have strengthened the mission of the Faro Family to create an “Essence” that could be common to everyone and could spread the vision of a better future through landscape and creativity.

That is why there will be a great conference open to everyone that will determine the official start of the Final Event – A New Green Scenario. James Basson, an internationally known garden designer, opens the debate whereas Master Emilio Isgrò inaugurates his work entitled Il Sogno di Empedocle at 5pm and closes the debate.

An exciting day awaits us to end happily this adventure that, even if it is over for now, is just at its beginning.
And then the party has not started yet!

At 8.00 pm we continue with the Charity Dinner to support the onlus La casa di Toti, the Sicilian association which aims at providing assistance to the disabled. Radicepura supports the onlus and in collaboration with an important sponsor like Ferrarelle.

At 10 pm it is time to make room for catchy music, lights and colors. It is time to welcome the star of the soul made in the UK, Myles Sanko, who will be performing live in collaboration with Mercati Generali.

Inspired by Bill Withers and Otis Redding’s sound, Myles began his career as a frontman of the Bijoumiyo and Speedometer funk bands, followed by a solo debut in 2013 with the EP “Born in Black & White”. The following year, with the release of her first album, Myles becomes one of the most interesting voices in the contemporary funk & soul scene.

Next, revel in the last #DROP, the format of the Festival that has gathered thousands of people to Radicepura, with a special djset by Radicepura’s friend Dj Giuseppe Marchetti.
